For parents and guardians
Built for curious kids. Managed by adults.
The Maple Explorers is an independently created Canadian educational project for families with children ages 5–9. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Children do not need an email address, and the site does not provide public profiles, messaging, targeted advertising or child-facing social features.
How content is checked
Educational and travel information is researched using official Canadian government, park and destination sources. Sources are listed in each field guide where appropriate.
What an account does
A family account saves story progress, journals, puzzles and passport stamps. Email verification is required before activation.
What information is collected
The site uses an adult’s email address, an account name and saved progress. Parents should use an adult first name or family nickname rather than a child’s full name.
Keeping travel information current
Maple Explorers is educational and does not provide real-time safety advice. Families should check the linked official destination or park website before travelling.
Canadian by design
Designed and built by Canadians.
Our goal is simple: help the next generation know Canada better—and feel excited to explore it together.
